“Ma’am, Good afternoon! Musical Instrument – I was given your information by another soldier that I am currently deployed with in xxxxxxxx. I am reaching out to see if it is possible to be gifted an acoustic guitar. I am interested in learning to play and they are currently giving lessons at the post. Please let me know what I need to submit to verify my deployment status. Respectfully,”

“Good afternoon Ma’am, my name is SSgt xxxxxxxx, I’m currently deployed to xxxxxxxx and I found this through looking for a way to get back to playing guitar. I am currently deployed and picked up acoustic guitar in the pandemic and use it as a therapy away from reality as much as possible. Sadly with circumstances I was not able to bring my guitar with me but I would absolutely love to have a guitar that could start with me on this part of my journey and follow me forward. Thank you for giving a gift beyond physical capabilities. I have small hands so I typically play on 3/4 but any thing would be sincerely appreciated. Thank you again for you time!”

“To whom it may concern, Good morning. This is CH (CPT) xxxxxxxx. I am currently deployed to xxxxxxxx. We have about 400+ soldiers at a location with limited entertainment facilities. We have planned to provide guitar classes, but we only have 2 acoustic guitars. If you have any electric guitars, we could really utilize them to help our troops here.
