We received the below message on Wednesday, 30 Jun 21, from one of our deployed Troops:

“Good afternoon Ms. Foskey, I am xxxxxxxx and I received your contact information from one of my Soldiers here in xxxxxxxx where we are currently deployed. I was wondering what the process is to request a guitar from your organization. I have dabbled with playing guitar in the past but it seems I have time while here to take it more seriously, and would like really learn while I have the time to do it. I appreciate your help and thank you for what your organization does for the Troops. Hope I hear from you soon, and have a great day. v/r”

We received the below message on Saturday, 26 Jun 21, from one of our deployed Troops:

“Good evening from overseas, I hope you, your family, and the organization are doing well. I was told that this email is who I should reach out to in order to sign up for a waiting list for musical instruments for troops deployed overseas. I understand that I may not receive anything, however I would still like to thank you and the organization for everything you do to support us. It is greatly appreciated. Respectfully,”

We received the below message on Saturday, 26 Jun 21, from one of our deployed Troops:

“Ma’am/Sir, I have never heard of this organization, but it thrills me to know it exist. Someone told me about it, so I looked it up and am pleased to see so many troops enjoying musical instruments donated by people who are supporting our troops. I am wondering if it may be possible to receive an acoustic guitar. I once played a good bit, but that was a long time ago. I actually looked at my old guitar before leaving, but didn’t pack it. I would like to start playing again while on this deployment and possibly pass it on to a troop in my replacement unit who may want it. If not, I’ll take it home and give it to a young troop or donate it back to your organization. I realize there is a waiting list, but I’ll be here for quite a few more months. I look forward to hearing from you and I appreciate your support.”
