The guitar is working out GREAT. It was kind of funny carrying the guitar from the post office to my shop and having everyone looking and asking about the big triangle looking box. Almost everybody guessed it was a guitar…It took me a while to reply, because I wanted to find out if there was any need in the Chapel.
I let them know that there was an outreach organization in GA that wanted to help with anything. The Chaplain didn’t tell me of anything right away and haven’t said anything recently but if I come across anything we need I’ll definitely let you know.
As far as the guys here, they are always asking me where do they have to sign up to get the boxes that I have been getting from Hearts to Heroes.
If I had to tell you something that the shop would like its coffee. Our Supervisor usually goes to the DFACS and pretty much have to beg them for some coffee and they always give him “that look.”
COMMENT FROM HEARTS TO HEROES: We are preparing a shipment of coffee supplies to send to these Troops!
