“Hi Myra,
How are you and your family? I have been back to the States for about over 2 weeks now. We have traveled through a few countries before we head home.
Thank you again for the coffee machine and other goodies you sent over to our guys before I left. I’m sorry that I didn’t get a chance to drop you a note.
It has been a very memorable deployment for me thanks to all the supports from stateside and of course I give thanks to God who blesses us all and kept us safe.
I am currently, however, going through some medical treatment due to my knee injury that occurred in xxxxxx. I tore my knee ACL and some meniscus on the right knee. I’m at the wounded warrior program now and hopefully I will get it fixed soon and get back to duty. Please remember me in prayer when you can.
Lastly, I want to thank you again for what you and your team have done and are doing. I’m sure that the soldiers who are overseas at the moment are appreciating what you send them just like we did.
