“Good afternoon, Myra: My guitar arrived today, and I couldn’t be happier! It felt like Christmas morning! Thank you so much for making this possible, it’s a huge morale booster. Ever since I was young, I’ve wanted to learn how to play the guitar but was never able to pursue it due to family issues. Fast forward to my adulthood, I never thought I’d be perusing this dream while deployed in the middle east. The Red Cross teaches guitar lessons for free every week and I’ve been learning a lot. However, practice is key when learning how to play an instrument and I was not sure how to go about getting a guitar. I deeply appreciate your support and look forward to entertaining my family back home once deployment is complete. One of my peers is big into photography and took a nice Christmas picture with the new guitar, thought I’d share them with you and your team. v/r”
