We received the below message from one of our deployed Troops:
“Good evening, I was curious on the process to apply for a guitar to be donated to xxxxxxxx? My name is xxxxxxxx, and I have played guitar for over 20 years now. I have two albums on Spotify and play upwards of 50x per year at local spots when I’m back home. I got tasked with 6 days notice to deploy. Now that I am here, I see an opportunity to get scheduled to play music at the base MWR spot for a few hours each week or as often as they will have me. They already have a PA and microphones but do not have any instruments. I also would like to use it to provide guitar lessons to other troops on base so figured I would reach out to see If there are any organizations who might be able to assist. Thank you for your consideration.”
