We received the below message on Wednesday, 1 Sept 2021, from one of our deployed Chaplains:
Good Morning: I am sending this request from xxxxxxxx in order to ask if it is possible for us to receive 4 guitars (2) Base and (2) electric guitars. I am not sure what accessories go along with these instruments. I am one of the Chaplain here in charge of the contemporary service and motivational events. We are in need of several different types of instruments that allows us to play music, sing, and have fun activities with the troops that are currently stationed here. Music is and has always been a way to calm a person and give them temporary peace and allow them to mentally connect with Caution-Caution-home. If you can assist us, it would be grateful.”
“Thank you for responding to my email request and I will keep praying that you will be able to assist us, the other instruments is (2) keyboards, (2) Drum Sets (2) violins. The reason that I say two is because we have two chapels in the location that we are currently and if we could get one per chapel it would be great. Thank you in advance for your assistance.”
“We will need amplifiers most of our troops, play at a beginners level, there are times that we get some skilled players. We just discovered that it is possible to play and store worship music on a computer system. We just purchased some cord sheets and many of the troops are getting better. Once again thank you so much.”
#319 (Bass Guitar and Amplifier) were shipped on Tuesday, 7 Sept 21.
#320 (Electric Guitar and Amplifier) were shipped today, 9 Sept 21.
#321 (Keyboard) was shipped today, 9 Sept 21.
NOTE: Due to the number of Troop requests we need to fulfill, these are the only instruments we are able to provide them at this time. We will try and provide them with additional instruments when we can.
