We received the following message on Thursday, 19 Nov 20, from one of our deployed Troops: “My Army unit is currently deployed to the Middle East in support of xxxxxxxxxxxx. This is my third deployment but for many of my Soldiers it is their first one. I’m planning on putting together a surprise Christmas party to keep their morale up over the holidays and I would be truly honored if you would be interested in contributing to this effort. I’m going to wrap anything sent and give it to them on Christmas morning. There are only xx of us in the unit including xx females. Most of us travel around theater quite often but we are currently all scheduled to be together over the week of Christmas. I’ve been playing guitar for twenty years now and would love to have the chance to play here. Myself and my Soldiers would be incredibly grateful for anything you would be willing to contribute. Either way, I love your mission. Please keep it up as the environment deployed right now is more difficult than in the past mainly due to Covid. Many thanks!
