We received the following message on Wednesday, 10 Jun 20, from one of our deployed Troops:
“Subject: Guitar to help pass the time while away from home – Good afternoon, My name is xxxxxxxx and I am stationed in xxxxxxxx. We have lost all MWR events since March when COVID-19 began. We have gotten creative with trying to entertain ourselves with movie nights on bunker walls, prison gym setups out of sand bags and steel pipe and cigar nights. I think a music night would be a great way to bring Soldiers together to learn a skill and express their thoughts and feelings through music. Thank-you for your consideration and all that you do for Soldiers!! Thank-you,”
Guitar #162 was shipped to our Troops this afternoon!
