We received the following message on Tuesday, 31 Mar 20, from one of our deployed Troops:
“Subject: Musician in need – Hello all, I am xxxxxxxx from the xxxxxxxx Div and I’m out here in xxxxxxxx. Due to our location and the COVID-19 issues all the MWRs USOs and Chapels have been closed here on base. A lot of the Soldiers are feeling down and I am reaching out to see if it is at all possible to send a guitar out here so that we can have something to entertain ourselves as well as create our own worship service. It would mean a lot to my Soldiers and myself to have a form of refuge such as music to boost the morale of this unit. We would like to thank you for your time and consideration. Respectfully,”
Guitar #155 was shipped to our Troops this afternoon!
