We received the following Thank You, this morning, from the Troop that received Guitar #103:
“Myra,
I’m writing to thank you for the guitar donation that I recently received. My wife xxxxxxxx contacted you about this great service that you provide for our troops, and though I do not play, it brought me great satisfaction to be able to transfer this gift to two brothers that I am currently deployed with. My wife has been telling me about Hearts to Heroes, Inc. for a while now as her company(s), Referral Source and Coldwell Banker SSK Realtors, are contributors to your charity. And while this is not my first deployment, it is the first one where I’ve had the opportunity to take advantage of your generosity.
When I got to xxxxxxxx I asked my troops if we had anyone that played the guitar, in which I had several members raise their hands. Who stood out to me where two brothers, xxxxxxxx and xxxxxxxx, who are on their first deployment, rooming together, and who both play but neither have their own instruments any longer. I felt that your gift went a long way with the two of them and they have both expressed shear amazement that there’s someone out there doing what you’re doing.
So, for what you do in support of what we do, I would like to say THANK YOU!”
