We received the following message on Friday, 29 Mar 19, from one of our deployed Troops:
“Hi I’m xxxxxxxx, I’m currently deployed in xxxxxxxx at xxxxxxxx. My daughter xxxxxxxx is 9 months old today, because this deployment I’m going to miss her first words and her first steps of walking. When I was back home I would always air play a guitar and play some country music for her and hear her laugh and see her smile. Playing a guitar isnt just an instrument to me it’s a passion. I always loved the sound and quality of it. Iv always wanted to learn to play but never had a chance to. This is my time to learn how to play that way when I get back home I can really play a guitar and sing to her. One day when she’s old enough I can be able to teach her how to play.”
Guitar #99 was shipped to our Troops this afternoon!
