We received the following email, last night, from the Troop that received Guitar #91: “Ms. Foskey, I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated receiving a guitar from your organization at the request of my wife. I challenged my soldiers before this deployment to choose three things they were going to improve on while deployed. When they asked me what my three were I said that I would get myself in better physical shape, that I would read more, and that I would try to learn to play the guitar. Back several years ago, more than I would like to count, my parents put me into guitar lessons and that is probably the only thing from my childhood that I wish I would have stuck with. Now with the help of many years of learned patience and YouTube, I hope to at least learn a few things before I return home. Again thank you and please feel free to forward this email to anyone responsible for making this happen.”
