The following email was received from Chaplain XXXX this morning: “Hi Myra, How are you doing today? I am attaching some photos here to let you know that the first 3 shipments have all been accounted for. Last night, I opened them and distributed to our Troops. Things like shampoo and shaving cream went out quickly and also the protein products. We appreciate the gifts a lot. In the next couple of days, we should be expecting shipment #4 and #5. I’m taking over the responsibility of the care packages connex this week. As you can see, it is in pretty bad shape and a bit dirty and unorganized. However, my goal is to make it look nice, clean, appealing and serviceable to our Troops. I hope we shall continue the partnership and continue to serve our Soldiers who are in a combat area. Happy Easter and God Bless. HE IS RISEN. Chaplain XXXX”

We are trying to get some of everything to you, that was on your list, then start resupplying some of the more needed items. Our partnership is solid! Your team is the one that we are concentrating on right now! Please keep me posted on what is needed and we will do our best to get it for you. The next few shipments will include more coffee supplies, hygiene items and some of the items that were on your list that we haven’t provided to you yet. Wishing all of you a Happy Easter! It really took me by surprise when I opened a package from an individual that doesn’t even know me but took the time and went out of their way to give such a special gift. And because you gave so much I was able to share with everybody on my shift. I would just like to let you know that it brought great joy to everybody here! Thank you so much and may God Bless you!”
