Good Morning!
1. I would like to thank everyone that registered their Kroger Plus Card, for Hearts to Heroes, with the Kroger Community Rewards Program. By shopping at Kroger between 12/01/2013 and 02/28/2014 (Cycle 1, Qtr 2) and swiping your Kroger Plus Card, you helped raise $166.02 for our Troops!
2. For those of you that have not registered your Kroger Plus Card for Hearts to Heroes and would like to do so, please go to www.krogercommunityrewards.com and do the following:
•Click on Sign In/Register.
•If you are a new online customer, please click on SIGN UP TODAY in the ‘New Customer?’ box.
•Sign up for a Kroger Rewards account by entering zip code, clicking on favorite store, entering your email address and creating a password, agreeing to the terms and conditions.
•You will then get a message to check your email inbox and click on the link within the body of the email.
•Click on My Account and use your email address and password to proceed to the next step.
•Click on Edit Kroger Community Rewards information and input your Kroger Plus card number.
•Update or confirm your information.
•Enter NPO Number (96665) or Hearts to Heroes and click on confirm.
•To verify you are enrolled correctly, you will see Hearts to Heroes on the right side of your information page.
•REMEMBER, purchases will not count for our organization until after you have registered your card.
•You must swipe your registered Kroger Plus Card or use the phone number that is related to your registered Kroger Plus Card, when shopping, for each purchase to count.
3. After you have gone thru the registration process and make a purchase at Kroger’s, the name of the charity that you are supporting will be listed at the bottom of your Sales Receipt.
4. There are still two remaining quarters left in the 2013-2014 Program so please help Hearts to Heroes raise money for our Troops!

Good Afternoon!
1. Hearts to Heroes is participating in the Belk Spring Charity Sale that is being held at all Belk Stores on Saturday, 3 May 14, from 6-10 a.m. This is a great opportunity for us to raise money by selling $5 Admission Tickets to this event. An individual can purchase more than one ticket, for this event, but each $5 ticket has to be used on separate purchases For every ticket that is purchased from Hearts to Heroes, our organization keeps 100% of the proceeds! The mission of Hearts to Heroes, INC., is to provide care packages to the deployed military troops of the United States of America made possible by the donation of monies/items from those individuals/groups that support them. The money that is raised, for this Charity Sale, will help us with the shipping costs and to purchase any additional items that are needed for our Troops care packages!
2. With Mother’s Day being on May 11th, this would be a great opportunity to shop for all of your Mother’s Day gifts! Following are some of the details for the Charity Sale:
a. You will receive 20-70% off Belk purchases storewide, including special savings on rarely discounted brands.
b. A free Gift Card will be given to the first 100 customers, at each store, on Saturday, 3 May 14. These cards are valued anywhere from $5 to $1,000.
3. If you cannot attend the Belk Spring Charity Sale on Saturday, 3 May 14, or you just want to reserve your selection early, you can take advantage of the pre-sale event. Below are the five steps in taking advantage of the pre-sale event:
a. Purchase a Charity Sale Ticket from Hearts to Heroes.
b. For the pre-sale, visit any Belk Store between Friday, 11 Apr 14 thru Friday, 2 May 14.
c. Select your merchandise.
d. Show your ticket(s) and have an Associate complete a pre-sale form to hold your merchandise. The $5 ticket price will be taken off your pre-sale, in addition to extra savings of Charity Day prices! Merchandise pre-sales must be rung with a Belk Reward Card or Belk Gift Card.
e. Return to the store anytime on 3 May 14, or up to 2 weeks later, to pick up your pre-rung purchase.
4. This is a great way for Hearts to Heroes to raise money for our Troops! If you would like to purchase a ticket(s), you can contact me at myra_foskey@yahoo.com or 478-230-0663 and we can make arrangements for me to get your ticket(s) to you. You can also mail a check, made out to “Hearts to Heroes,” to my attention at P. O. Box 711; Cochran, GA 31014, and I will mail your ticket(s) back to you.
