“Hello, My name is SPC xxxxxxxx and I am currently deployed in xxxxxxxx at xxxxxxxx with the xxxxxxxx. I heard about y’alls organization from our Red Cross agent. I have been looking for an acoustic guitar to buy, but no one has one except the USO. And it is constantly a hit or miss when it is available to use due to other players. I look forward to hearing back from y’all soon and thank y’all for everything that y’all do! Thank you”

We received the following message from one of our deployed Chaplains:
“Dear Myra, I hope this message finds you well. My name is Chaplain xxxxxxxx and I am currently deployed as a U.S. Army Chaplain. During this deployment, I have been working to support the well-being and morale of the soldiers under my care through various activities, including spiritual support and personal development programs. I am writing to request the donation of a classical guitar to facilitate a unique initiative I would like to introduce for the soldiers. My goal is to create a “Classical Guitar Time” where soldiers can come together, learn, and practice guitar as a way to relieve stress, focus their minds, and develop a new skill during our deployment. The addition of a classical guitar would greatly enhance our ability to offer this meaningful activity. Your generous donation would provide a much-needed creative outlet for the soldiers, contributing to their overall mental well-being. If your organization is able to assist with this request, it would make a significant difference to our deployed team.
