We received the below message from one of deployed Troops:
“Good morning, I am SFC xxxxxxxx. I am deployed to xxxxxxxx with the US Army and heard about your organization from another Soldier. If at all possible, I’d like to be added to the list to receive a guitar. I’ve always wanted to learn to play guitar and it would be a good way to relax at the end of the day. If it is even a thing, I’d prefer a small or mini guitar because space is limited. Even if I’m not able to receive a guitar, I wanted to tell you that I appreciate everything your organization does. Music is a universal language and can inspire hope and joy to everyone who hears it. Your organization providing these instruments to troops inspires hope and joy, not only for the person receiving the instrument, but for all those that hear its music. And for this, I thank you!”

We want to Thank “Eddie and the Band” (L to R: Tony Dowd, Eddie Icard & Dan English) for donating this guitar (#500) and for all the other guitars they have donated and continue to donate! They play at the White Diamond Grill, in Bonaire GA, every Friday night and use the tips they receive to purchase these guitars for our Troops. These guys are awesome, and our Guitars for the Troops Program would not be possible without their help!
