“To whom it may concern, Good evening and hope all is well. I am SGT xxxxxxxx and I received your contact information from my Platoon Sergeant here at xxxxxxxx where we have been deployed for the past 6 months. I’m currently on my 1st deployment and missing my family deeply. It has been a struggle but prayer and engaging in new activities have been getting me through it. I just finished school and I will be receiving my BA from University of Arizona October 10th and receiving this will be a great gift but also lift my spirits. I have been eagerly wanting an royal blue electric guitar with an Amp including headphone plug in since I was a child and it seems like the information regarding you guys came right on time. With much gratitude, I appreciate your help and whether or not you guys are able to provide me with a guitar, I still thank you for what your organization does for the Service Members. May God continue to bless all of you and thanks once again. With Love”

“Good day Ma’am, I am SPC xxxxxxxx with xxxxxxxx. I am currently deployed overseas, I was told by my NCO about your program and I wanted to know if you may put me in the list on receiving a guitar.”

“Hello, this is Private First Class xxxxxxxx and I spend almost all of my free time in the past year practicing playing guitar. My deployment to the Middle East has just begun, and our current location does not have nearly as many amenities as other locations so I’m really hoping I can use my down time here to continue to practice music. An electric guitar and small amp would be much appreciated. I would have an easier time ordering an amp online than a guitar so at the very least, I’ll take any electric guitar. Thank you for your time and take care.”
