“Hello, My name is SPC xxxxxxxx, I am writing you this email to ask about the process involved with requesting an instrument for a soldier. I am the religious affairs specialist for a unit which is currently deployed. We have a soldier who loves to play the guitar, if possible I would love to be able to provide him with the gift of music by way of a guitar. If you can give me any guidance with this matter I would greatly appreciate it. Respectively”

“Hi Ms. Foskey, My name is xxxxxxxx and I received your email address from one of the soldiers in my unit (xxxxxxxx) who by the way loves his banjo. I was wondering how I could receive an instrument from your organization. I am currently deployed station at xxxxxxxx in xxxxxxxx. If its possible can you give me some information on how I can throw my name in the hat. Thank you for what you and your organization do for us it is definitely amazing. Hope to hear from you.”
