“Good afternoon Ma’am, my name is SSgt xxxxxxxx, I’m currently deployed to xxxxxxxx and I found this through looking for a way to get back to playing guitar. I am currently deployed and picked up acoustic guitar in the pandemic and use it as a therapy away from reality as much as possible. Sadly with circumstances I was not able to bring my guitar with me but I would absolutely love to have a guitar that could start with me on this part of my journey and follow me forward. Thank you for giving a gift beyond physical capabilities. I have small hands so I typically play on 3/4 but any thing would be sincerely appreciated. Thank you again for you time!”

“To whom it may concern, Good morning. This is CH (CPT) xxxxxxxx. I am currently deployed to xxxxxxxx. We have about 400+ soldiers at a location with limited entertainment facilities. We have planned to provide guitar classes, but we only have 2 acoustic guitars. If you have any electric guitars, we could really utilize them to help our troops here. “Good day Myra, My name is xxxxxxxx and I’m a Sergeant in the Army currently deployed to the middle east, based in xxxxxxxx in xxxxxxxx. I’ve been playing guitar for 5 years and I play for the contemporary & Gospel service on base. Your contact information came up as possibly a route for either borrowing or getting a guitar for use while deployed, though I’m not sure if this is something you still do. If that is an option, what process would I need to go through in order to obtain any simple, cheap, adult electric or acoustic guitar? Thank you for your time,”
