“I am xxxxxxxx, I got your contact information from my unit’s chaplain assistant. I am curious about the process of requesting an instrument. I am currently deployed to xxxxxxxx, and I have played guitar for a few years, but with the current Covid-19 restrictions, our music room on base has been closed down. I appreciate the service your organization provides to soldiers mobilized overseas. Thank you,”
