We received the following message on Monday, 25 Jan 21, from one of our deployed Troops:
“Dear Sir or Ma’am, I’m currently deployed in xxxxxxxx and will be here until sometime in xxxxxxxx. I understand you’re not able to take requests at this time. When you are able to reopen this program I would be honored to receive a guitar. It would be a joy to use my downtime and my time in country to learn to play. I completely understand if you’re not able to fulfill this request due to the times we’re living in. Regardless, I’d like to tell you thank you for being a blessing to so many service members. May God richly bless you and your organization in Jesus name. Sincerely,”
The following message was received on Wednesday, 31 Mar 21, in response to an email that I had sent letting him know that we had a guitar for him:
“Hi Myra! Great to hear from you! That’s wonderful news! My deployment status and shipping address haven’t changed. What a blessing! I’m totally inspired by your kindness Myra. How have you been holding up? I pray that Holy Spirit is comforting and strengthening you and your family daily in Jesus name. I pray that your heart is overwhelmed by God’s love and hope. I pray that you can’t contain the joy and it makes everyone around you curious. I believe that’s God’s heart for you and I’m in agreement with him
